I am very passionate about my beverages, and I tend to go through phases. My current drinks of choice are absinthe (or Hemingways--absinthe and champagne), grappa, and red wine. Some recent great wines include: Biondi Santi Sassoalloro, Vietti Dolcetto, Vietti Roero Arneis. I am also a big fan of scotch, my favorites being anything bottled by Cadenhead's, Longrow, Sprinbank (as you can see I'm a Campbletown nut), Laphroaig 15, Lagavulin, and Talisker. Belgian beer is also a continuing passion, especially anything bottled by the Brasserie Dupont in Tourpes. They produce the great and relatively cheap Saison Dupont, Moinette Bruin and Blond, Biere de Miel, and the seasonal Avec les bon voeux.
